| Woo, new icon - this one will be used for all my HOWRSE related post
So anyways, I got lucky enough to find a Horn of Plenty floating around on a page. What this item does is give you random items (ranging from only a few simple little things to expensive Black Market items) I got lucky and got a Philosopher's Stone.
That stone makes a horse of your choosing Immortal.
But now I have a problem...
I DON'T KNOW WHO SHOULD GET IT!
I have 9 days to decide who should get it (out of my 13 horses I consider 'worthy' [ok, they're all worthy]). However, there are a few that I would rather see have it. And those horses are as follows:
Shirley's Paintbox - Paint Mare and the 'lead' mare of my herd Pros - My only paint and my first mare. Oliver's original mate and Amelia's Mother
Cons - She's older than my other horses, and not the best 'foundation' horse
Robin's Snow Dancer - Arabian mare and my best 'foundation' mare
Pros - My only pure Arabian. Keith's only mate and a great preformer
Cons - it's unfair to Keith if she lives and he dies Keith's Kicker - Irish Hunter stallion and my only non-Fresiean Stud Pros - My only pure Irish Hunter. Great stud - produces 'star' foals
Cons - it's unfair to Robin if he lives and she dies
Gavia's Galloper - Irish Hunter/Arabian mare - my second FillyPros - My second cross-breed, has 4 stars, is adorable
Cons - She has a sister, and is still young, so I have a chance to get another stone and help an older horse
Ivan Braginski - My Russian Don Gelding
Pros - He's cute, and an excellent preformer in competitions
Cons - He's a gelding, so he can't reproduce (and I can't make money on coverings)
Cassandra's Words - My Chincoteague Pony mare
Pros - She's my only pony and a great racer (and a bit of an inside joke)
Cons - She really is only a gallop racer, so I an't quite make money off other competitions
Now the reason I have 9 days to decide is because when a horse reaches 25 years of age, they begin to lose their skills and become less valuable. Shirley will be 25 in 9 days, so I have to decide before then if I want her to have it or someone else. Now there is the off-chance that within those 9 days that I will get another H.O.P and have a chance at getting a Stone, or due to the U.F.O. events that happen around the holidays, they might do something for Valnetine's day and I might be able to win one.

| So the Original Pilotwings is a real blast!
So far, I've discovered I am best with the rocketbelt. And the Bonus Challanges are super whacked and super fun all at the same time (Sadly, I've only landed on the moving platforms twice to be able to get them :C)
THe hang glider is my worst event, followed by a tie between Light Plane and Skydiving.
Although now I have beaten level 3 and am working on level 4.
And now since I Have each level at my disposal: When it comes to the instructors, I have come to the following conclusions:
Tony is a fag, and his 'angry face' makes me laugh. Not to mention 'That's a parachute, not scuba gear' really brings a smile to one's face.
Shirley is cool, however I want to know how she got her medical what with the epileptic fits she has when you do well. ('100% face' and '80 or higher % face') I couldn't seem to really get an 'angry face' from her.
Lance is scary. His 'angry face' is really creeping me out. Not to mention Lance's 'happy face is ALSO creepy.
However, Big Al has put Lance to shame on the 'Happy face'. I mean his 'angry face' looks only a little different from his 'normal face' *blames the sunglasses* but his 'You got 100% on somthing face' really creeps me out.
HE TOOK THE SUNGLASSES OFF! He looks like E. Honda on crack! Not to mention, he's got the whole 'flowing tears' animation going on.
*runs and hides in the corner*...comes back and plays - beats Flight Level 4 with 315 points - get's Gold Certification*
Shit, I forgot the final mission with the Chopper.
Oh God, Al's telling me of the problem WITHOUT his glasses on again *cries*
I love that the last mission is a helicopter, but I hate the fact that (if memory serves) if you are hit, you crash immediatly! GAH! He made a 'happy face' when I accepted the mission *cries*

Well shit, this is a tough one.
My inner spirit is either that of a horse or a tiger. Both of them are animals I love and feel a connection to. Both of them are rather proud and nobel creatures. However the horse also is an animal that shares my work ethic, and while they don't always like it or are treated the best, they still press on.
As for what I'd like to wake up as, I have got to go with either a bird (anyone is fine, except for a flightless one - the penguin is the only exception) due to my love of flight or perhaps a playful Fox or other member of the Canine family. Although due to my love of the water, a fish or dolphin would be rather nice as well.

Was researching Mysterium airfare again. It seems that different departure airports and return airports cause different fare rates. For the total cost of the flight per person:
Out of Manchester it's $456.80 (cheapest)
Out of Boston it's $306.80 (cheapest)
It's exactly $150 difference.
Now I must admit Boston is a bit more complex of an air port (also a further drive), but to save some money; BRB Boston! | | new comment entry or Make a note |

That's right, the dates for Mysterium 2010 have been annouced. It's going to be from August 5 to the 8th.
So Oos, very soon I am going to need a go or no go answer (looking around the middle of Feb. to book the airfare, just to make sure the dates don't change...)
I've done some research into the airfare (It's proper numbers now that I have dates)
Using how I did last year (Arrive thursday - I think it's just going to be a pre-register pick-up day like it was last time - leave monday) and using times that I would take, I have come up with these numbers:
All flights depart Manchester and have one stop in Chicago before reaching Minneapolis and calculated for one adult
FLIGHT ONE; Has VERY early morning departures = $456.80
We leave at 6:20 our time, and arrive at 10:50 MN time to go down
Coming back, we leave at 6:00 MN time, and arrive at home at 12:50 our time
FLIGHT TWO; Slightly later departure times = $476.80
We leave at 8:30 our time, and arrive at 2:05 MN time to go down
Coming back, we leave at 11:15, and arrive at home at 4:45 our time
Due to the later departure times, FLIGHT TWO is my preferred option, but FLIGHT ONE is slightly cheaper ($20 - woo!)
I know it's a lot of money, but if you can master to raise MOST of the airfare (read that as at least $400) I can help with the rest...Plus as I said, I can do the hotel (I just did a rough search - went in the middle on this, 3 star hotel, out of five, I took the one in the middle when it came to price - [$130 - Fri and Sun, $100 - Thur. and Sat.] for a total of $520)
So let's see, for total cost for the two of us we'll go in the middle with $460 for airfare, and we'll stick with the $520 hotel (Calculated for both 1 and 2 adults - came out the same)
So that's ($460x2) + $520, that comes to about $1440
The actual hotel will probably be cheaper (did come across a 2 star comfort in for $77 adverage a night) and I can also usually get a AAA discount (did for Spokane, ended up being like a little over $300) but I'd still say if you want to try and come, at least get the airfare (if you wanted to do both...I'd say at least $700) | | Make a note |

We're 0 for 2 on being healthy for one's birthday!
I woke up around two in the morning last night with a killer stomach ache...and have been throwing up, shitting, and randomly falling asleep since around. I had to call out of work today because everytime I stood, light-headed.
Fortunatly now...I'm feeling a little better...

NAGI'S FOURTH ANNUAL NEW YEARS SLEEP-OVER PARTY*95% done post
That's right people it's the 95% done (basically set in stone) plan for the Party!
So here's the plan. We'll all meet up at my house around 2 o'clock - this gives me time in the morning to get everything together.
I reccomend eating lunch before you come, but I will have snack foods on hand. Which brings me to the menu:

Nachos - with REAL cheese, not rubber blob cheese

Note that sleeping over is optional, but however it is Girls-only and you must bring your own sleeping bag or thing you plan to sleep on. I do have blankets I can provide, but beyond that...
Now here's the slight kicker - I have to be into work by 11 on that day...So from my house on a regular day, the latest I can leave is 10:40 - so this mean that EVERYONE must be gone by 10:30 so that means wake-up time would have to be around 7:30 in the morning. This gives time for breakfast and stuff like that.
And there we have it...a 95% final plan for NEW YEARS.

Yeah, my father found a little nip bottle of Stoli and had to buy it for me. After all the big gifts were opened, he reached into the back of the tree and took out a gift *that I thought was just left-over wrapping paper* and told me it was a joke, and to just read the tag:
